The Modern Family : funny series

Yay! I'm kinda addicted to this series. I stumbled upon this show when I was channel surfing, it was a habit of mine whenever I'm holding the remote..hehe! And from then on, I started to download the first season, and still downloading all the episodes from season 2 up to the present.

This series explores the everyday life of different modern families.  It is about three families from the Pritchett Clan, which shows how dysfunctional families can face the challenges that they encounter . Every episode were presented in a humorous manner but told with a heart. 

Modern Family swept the recent Emmy's Awards Night winning five awards — Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for Julie Bowen; Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy for Ty Burrell (yey! for the Dunphy!) ; Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series for Michael Spiller; Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series for Steve Levitan and Jeffrey Richman and — the big gun — Outstanding Comedy Series. It is two consecutive years that they got the Outstanding Comedy Series. Group Hug! Sofia Vergara (Gloria) is my bet for next year for the outsanding actress for a comedy series. She was hilariously funny!

Beside chick flick series, this kind of series I enjoyed the most. Laugh trip kasi!

Pick-up lines ala Flip-top in Bubble Gang

I don't know what's happening bakit ako nagigising ng alanganing oras sa gabi. Maybe dahil sa malakas na hangin na humahampas sa bintana ko. Medyo creepy lang kasi 12mn and 3am ako nagigising. Eh di ba may mga kwento na mga ganun time lumalabas ang mga mumu. Pero kwento lang naman yun at ayaw ko takutin sarili ko. Since hindi na rin ako makatulog nag-open ako ng youtube sa phone ko at pinanood ko yung episode sa Bubble Gang na nagfliflip-top sila pero puro pick up lines ang gamit nila. Uber nakakatawa lang kaya sila lalo na si Ogie. Ayun ang ending hindi ako lalo nakatulog.

MTV Awkward Series

I  spent my Friday night downloading the episodes of the new MTV series "Awkward". The show is based on a social outcast girl, Jenna (Ashley Rickards), who had been humored of commiting suicide. After the accident, she became an instant news in her school. She encountered a lot of misfortunes in school and turn it around and became well known to her peers. There's this popular guy, Matty (Beau Mirchoff) who she had sex secretly but never talk to her in public. While dealing with a lot of bad things happening, she manages the daily drama that comes with being a stranger. 

And if you know me, I'm a sucker for chick flicks! I love this series.. bitin lang kasi 7 episodes pa lang. I have something to look forward para idownload. Oh! I forgot to say that Jenna is a blogger too in the series. And the production put up a real blog site of Jenna. Click here.

Gaga turns Gago at the VMA 2011

Everyone was waiting for Lady Gaga's outfit for the VMA 2011. And to our surprise, she dressed as her male alter ego "Jo Calderone". Gaga is in character! Muntik ko na syang hindi makilala. Lady Gaga este Jo Calderone presented the special tribute to Britney Spears. I thought magkakaron ng part two ang Madonna-Britney controversial kiss. hehe!

I love the Roloff!

I'm a self-confessed couch potato, and I can't live without tv. I enjoy watching than listening to music (pero pag emo moment.. kahit dumugo tenga sa music). There are only few channels that I tune-in and one of my favorite channel in cable is Discovery Home and Health because they were airing one of my favorite show. Do you know the Roloff's Family? They are the wonderful family in the reality tv "little people, big world". Matt and Amy (mom and dad) are both midget and has four kids: Jeremy and Zach (twins but not same, Jeremy being normal and Zach was born same as his parents), Molly and Jacob.

Just imagine how difficult it is to raise four children if the parents are not normal in height. From what Amy said, they can do things like normal people do they just do things in a different way.  I really admire how they manage to have a normal and happy life. They even manage to have a farm business which is really profiting a lot. Matt, the father, is a hardworking man, very innovative and good in taking risks, while Amy, the mother, is very motherly, understanding and supportive to his hubby and children.Just like a normal couple they have their ups and downs, but they compromise and try complementing each other. Their kids were really grounded, though they are living a comfortable life, they learned how to save and to live a simple life. Perseverance is what Amy and Matt try to instill to their children,  that they should never-never give up in attaining their dreams in life.
I hope to meet this family in the future. =) They are such an inspiration. Really love 'em.
