Today is my favorite uncle's birthday! When I got home today the first thing he let me see is his new senior citizen ID card. hahaha! He's my favorite unce you know why? 'coz I'm his favorite niece.. hahaha! I'm pretty sure madaming magrereact na cousins ko. Gawa din kayo blog pra kayo din ang favorite. lol! Uncle is one of the generous people I know. Way back, when he used to earn so much, he's the person we go to whenever we need something and you'll never have a hard time asking him. Kung binabayaran ang utang na loob, malamang nakalubog ako na ko. I grew up with my lola and with him, so basically all my life magkasama kami. One thing that my lola constantly told me when she was alive is.. to take good care of my uncle when she'll be gone. Even if my lola didn't told me that, hindi ko kayang pabayaan yung taong malaki ang hirap sa akin. Nagtatry ako bumawi even in simple ways. Kaya ngayon, whenever he asks me something basta kaya ko hindi ako nagdadalawang isip. I have a lot of happy memories with him, and something that I'll never forget is when we went to Star city.. just the two of us. We went to a ghost house and grabe mas malakas pa sya tumili sa kin. May kasabay pa kaming magbf dun sa loob then paglabas sya na ung nakakapit dun sa guy. hahaha! Uber tawa talaga ko everytime maaalala ko yun.

         I just want to thank you for everything. You'll always be my favorite uncle. Walang aagaw sa spot na yun. Hindi lang talaga ko showy pero.. love you so much! Happy senior citizen birthday!!! =)

shopaholic series

I am currently reading the newest book from the shopaholic series.by sophie kinsella. If you're familiar with the movie "the confessions of a shopaholic" , you'll.know what I am talking about. It's about a girl who is a shopaholic. Most girls will.surely can relate to some of Rebecca Bloomwood's misadventures and how she went through with those mishaps. I admire the way Sophie Kinsella writes. She's witty and incredibly funny! According to the boston globe " she has the gift for comic writing". Aside from the shopaholic series, she also write other novels who also became bestsellers like: Can you keep a secret, the twenties girl and undomestic goddess. I am sure that you'll gonna laugh your heart out reading thise novels, so try visit a nearby bookstore and grab those books.

I'll always be a papa's girl!

I can say that I'm one of the luckiest daughter to have a father like my dad. Oo, bias ako! Bakit naman hindi? Papa's girl ata ako and I'm proud to be one! =) If time comes and God permits na magkakaroon ako ng partner or asawa, I want it to be like my dad. Sabi nga di ba nila, marry someone like your father.. ewan ko san ko napulot yun o imbento ko lang.

I grew up without my dad's presence because he was working outside the country. Pero, we never felt he wasn't here or we long for his love kasi he always makes an extra effort to talk to us, or to make us feel he's always there whenever we need him. Usually kasi di ba yung may mga dad na nagwowork sa malayo ang tendency hindi sila masyadong close sa kids nila, but for us hindi nangyari yun. I still remember pag uuwi yan, minsan dadaanan nya muna ko sa house ng lola ko (coz i'm living with my lola) from airport bago kami uuwi kina mama.  And yung feeling na uber excited ako pag nalaman kong malapit na magvacation si papa kahit ilang months pa yung bibilangin. Something special about my dad is he never fails to make us laugh.. kahit uber kababawan or sya un pagtawanan namin. Kahit paulit-ulit yung kwentong barbero at abutan kami ng magdamag sa pagkwekwentuhan habang nagto-tong-its kahit nagkakadayaan pa...masaya pa din. Siguro nung nagtapon ng pasensya si God, gising na gising ang papa ko...kasi ba naman 4 girls (mama, ate, jen and me) na magkakaiba ng moods ang kasama nya everyday kung hindi ba naman humaba ang pasensya nya samahan mo pa ng makukulit na chikiting (paulline, julia and coy). Jack of all trades din si papa, karpintero, technichian, electrician, mechanic, cook, labandero...etc. lahat yan kaya nya gawin.. hindi nga lang sabay-sabay.. isa-isa lang mahina kalaban! =)

We witnessed his loyalty and love to my mom, no distance can break them apart. Partida ang LDR nila, hindi pa uso dati ang internet, text at ang uber mahal ng long distance dati. I've seen pano nya suyuin si mama pag magkaaway sila, parang si guy and pip lang! hahaha! Hindi nahihiya si papa ipakita yung sweetness nya (which is hindi ko namana) sa min, yung hug, kiss at pagluto ng fave na ulam...little things he does that make us feel special.

Thanks Pa for everything.. you were my motivation and my inspiration nun nag-aaral pa kasi I know you'll be happy and proud when you see my grades.

Thanks din sa paghatid at pagsundo rain or shine, pag tinatanong mo ko sinong nagpapakunot ng noo ko everytime na bad mood ako pag-uwi. 

Thanks for appreciating every small things we do, even a small gift lang, yung ngiti mong abot sa magkabilang tenga mo.

I was strolling in a nearby mall when I saw this cute slippers. I ask the guy at the Bambu kiosk where the slippers are made of and he said that it was from Brazil.

I tried it on and it really feels comfy, light and stylish. This would be good for long walks and I didn't hesitate to buy one because it's cheap, a pair is only 375php. Ginga, pronounced as (jing-ga) is the perfect footwear you can have during this rainy season because this is very durable that it can withstand a bad weather.

Things you'll hate to love about me

I can't think of something to post kaya heto na lang. Actually madaming naka drafts puro walang ending. So here it goes, things you might like/hate about me.

1. I have a lot of nicknames.. depende kung sinong group of friends ko ang tumatawag sa ken.
    Ann - when I was a baby.
    Len - by some of my tita's and cousins.
    Ana - my former officemates
    Nalyn - by my college friends
    Ayen - from alen to ayen.. lam ko dun nagstart, then my nieces can't pronounce my name kaya naging ayen. And now most people call me by this name.

2. I'm very patient with other things except waiting.  As in lumelevel-up ang dugo ko kapag pinaghihintay ako ng matagal. Hindi naman kita iiwan or hindi na kita aantayin pero you'll see in my face that I'm angry. I hate being late kasi, seldom as in super seldom na malate ako especially at work.

3. I'm a couch potato. I love watching movies, tv series and reality tv shows. I can spend my weekend just watching tv. Kaya kong ipagpalit ang gala sa isang magandang show or movie.

4. I have an itchy fee.. not athletes foot, silly! Mahilig akong gumala, mapaout of town pa yan or mall lang.. go ako dyan! Kaya kong umalis mag-isa, kung san dalhin ng paa. Plan ko din magout of town ng mag-isa lang. Mag-enjoy kaya ako?

5. I love adventures. Kahit madami akong fears, I try to try out new things, like takot ako sa heights pero natry ko na magskywalk, coaster edge, parasailing and ziplines. I try to conquer those fears and iba yung high when you overcome them.

6. I want to learn Photography, un formal learning talaga kasi mahilig ako sa pictures. Most of the time ako ang official photographer kapag may happenings  or trips.

7. I have a huge crush before kay Aga Muhlach. Wala akong pinalagpas na episode ng okidok and most of his movies napanood ko. Crush ko pa din sya til now pero mas crush ko na si Mo Twister. hahaha! Mahilig ako sa matatalino and mga boy next door.

8. I love chick flicks! Ako na ang hopeless romantic. Most of my favorite movies are romantic comedy. Mapaenglish or tagalog movie pa yan. My amnesia girl, 500 days of summer, My sassy girl, and syempre ang pinakarecent fave ko ang thai movie na "Crazy little thing called love".

9. Big frustration ko ang tumangkad. Kaya lang gang dito lang talaga ang height ko, sa pictures lang ako mukhang matangkad. I don't wear heels kasi mukhang yun ang ikamamatay ko dahil si tapilok at talisod ako palagi.

10. When I fall, I fall deep. Hindi ko na ieexplain. Hahaba pa ang usapan.

11. Malakas ang topak ko as in.. alam yan dito sa bahay. Pag wala talaga ko sa mood I'll just stay in my room ng ilang araw.. lalabas lang kung kakain or maliligo.

12. Attracted ako sa guy na may magandang batok. Basta there's a certain look ng batok na gusto ko, most of my crushes magaganda batok. Bakit batok? Hindi ko alam, hehehe! At least hindi kili-kili.

13. Pinangarap kong maging interior designer. Naaliw ako when I watch something about designing and renovating houses. Yung magiging dream house ko ako magdedesign ng interior. Pero bago yan, makahanap muna ng mayamang aasawahin. hehe!

14. I'm not the sweetest person you'll know, hindi kasi ko touchy pero I show my love in a different way. Even with my friends, hindi ako mahilig mag-hug or something pero alam nila pag kailangan nila ako, I'm always be there for them.

15. Chocolates.. I can't live without them. Comfort food ko yan. Mahilig ako sa dark chocolates pero ngayon I'm addicted to cloud 9 strawberry burst.

Crazy Little Thing Called Love

Do you remember your first love? Those kilig moments you've had with that special person, do you still remember? Guess who's the latest endorser of Penshoppe? Ed Westwick aka Chuck Bass of Gossip Girl!!! Napa-OMG ako when I knew he's the latest endorser coz I'm a fan! From what I know he's in Manila right now, hope to see him even from afar. I just wonder if there would be mall tours, for sure girls and pa-girls will be lining up to have a glimpse of him. Hope Leighton Meester can be the endorser for the ladies clothes. Hay naku I'll be definitely be the first on the line. hahaha!

Penshoppe Glam Shoes

Since our company is implementing a new dress code, I needed to buy a pair of close shoes that I can use at work. Goodbye to my sneakers and comfy candy shoes! I was having a hard time looking for shoes because I only wear flats. Comfort is a must for me because I am regularly having long walks going to work. I don't wear heels 'coz it might be the cause of my death.. hahaha! Ang pangit naman " babae namatay dahil sa takong!" kung heto ang mababasa sa newspaper.

I've already seen these glam shoes from Penshoppe but I haven't tried it on before. But these shoes are pretty and looks comfy, so I bought one for myself.
