Team Anna goes to EK!

We purchased the anniversary promo of Enchanted Kingdom from ensogo.ph for only 300/person for the unlimited rides. Uber great deal right? Kaya our team availed the promo, it will serve as our team building na din. Last last Saturday, kahit na there's a typhoon coming, tuloy ang Enchated namin. Buti na lang nakisama ang weather... halos the whole day cloudy lang, umulan na lang nung bandang hapon.

team Anna
Pagdating, onting picture taking then we started riding the attractions. First stop, the bump car.

Next, yung mini-roller coaster.

Next, Rialto. Happy feet ang showing. Keri lang naman, mas enjoy kasi yung 4D.

parang sa neighborhood lang natin.. chos!
Next is the flying fiesta. Nakakahilo lang sya. Patuyuan ang ride na 'to after mo sa Rio Grande.

Then, we started to get hungry. Buy 1 take 1 ang hotdog for 45php.

After eating, we headed to Rio Grande but it was still closed for maintenance check. Then we saw the horror house. There is an entrance fee for this, 50 php per head.
Nung 2nd and 3rd time wala ng umiwas sa tubig. Basa na kung basa hanggang underwear. Napaghandaan naman namin kasi we bought spare clothes for this.

We also tried the Discovery 4D. The movie excerpt was from Yogi Bear, it runs for about 15 mins. May fee din to na 60 php if you have the all rides wrist band. Ang cute ng movie, you can also feel the splash of the water from the movie. Next time sasama ko na mga pamangkin ko, tyak maeenjoy nila to.
After ng 4D, may nakita kaming noodles food stand. Grabe gutom na naman kami. hehe! I bought the pancit canton for 69 php and bottled water for 35. Ang mahal ng snack namin!
Then we headed back to Rio Grande. As in soaking wet!
Inabot na din kami ng gabi and we decided not to wait for the fireworks display and just go home because it started to rain. And just before we leave, here are some of the pictures that I took.

Team Building in Hongkong Lion

Hongkong Lion
We held our team building last friday night in Hongkong Lion at Dampa along Macapagal Road in Pasay City. The first plan was to have an out of town outing but not everyone is available on the dates suggested so, we just decided to have an after shift dinner ala-dampa style. Dampa means a wet market where all sorts of frest seafoods can be bought and make it cooked from the nearby restaurants. (from wordnik) It's easy to spot the Hongkong Lion because it's near the wet market. In front of it is a dvd store.
behind me is the wet market
We accomodated the  VIP room on the 2nd floor. The room is free for 3 hours from the moment the food was served with unlimited videoke.

Mommy Lyza, my teammate, went early to Dampa to arranged our reservations and she did all the buying of  seafoods from the market and coordinated with Hongkong Lion to cook our food.  We had baked tahong, buttered shrimp and crabs, sinigang sa miso, grilled tilapia and liempo. It was a sumptuous meal. Grabe bigat sa tyan!

It is also the birthday of our supervisor, Ate Anna. We bought a cake for her and greeted her a Happy Birthday lead by Myra's "kulot-kulot" voice. hehe!
Ate Anna
galit-galit muna!
limas ang mesa! hehe!
We were charged for 4800 php for all the food and cooking services and I guess it's a good deal for a group of 12.

Everyone enjoyed the food and company of each other. Uber laugh trip! Hope this is not the last.. more happy moments with us guys!

Gary's Spongebob Party

the birthday boy

We were able to pull off a surprise birthday party for our supervisor last friday night during our team building. We brought the party favors without our supervisor knowing what's we're up to. From the balloons to our yellow shirts, everything was planned. He was a bit curious about the yellow shirt, coz most of us was wearing yellow at the office. We just told him if he hadn't read our mail about wearing yellow coz everyone knew about it.
the group picture

When we arrived at Dangsky Resort, some of us locked ourselves in one of the rooms to prepare for the things needed in the surprise party. We had a plan, we thought of asking some errands to Sir Gary so that he can leave the place and we can start preparing. After he'd gone out, everyone was busy preparing the party favors, cupcakes, banners, balloons, food  and lootbags... the works talaga!  We turn the lights off and prepared a birthday song in the videoke. When he went back we surprise him by singing the "happy birthday song". He was surprised and happy, which is our goal. He can't believe that we made a surprise celebration for him. Uber like nya yung concept, a kiddie party at his age. hehe! We're so happy he liked what we did.
Ang daming food, inihaw na liempo and tilapia, hotdogs and spaghetti, ang yummylicious adobo by ate sylvia, apple mangoes with bagoong that I really liked and syempre mawawala ba ang inuman. Dalawang group magkaiba ng iniinom (the bar and empi lights), nagdodouble court si ayen. hehe!
ang handa.. bow!

Everyone enjoyed the night, may games, videoke, swimming, inuman. A night full of fun and laughter. And here are some proofs...
buhol-buhol game

Ako na uber excited everytime na may team building is looking forward for another one. Caliraya naman tayo! =)

Dangsky Resort

After shift last friday, we headed to Calamba, Laguna to have our team building at Dangsky Resort. Dangsky resort is a private pool The place is quite big for a group of 18. There are 3 rooms with bunk beds, 2 toilets and 3 shower rooms and a big parking lot. You can sing all you want in the unlimited videoke machine and you can play billiards with your friends. There is a huge picnic table and a very accessible dirty kitchen. And of course, the thing that I enjoyed the most is the big pool.

Team Building in Puerto Galera

team rowel @ batangas port
Last weekend, (feb. 26-27) my former team mates had our team building at Puerto Galera. We were supposed to meet at 7am at Buendia but since my team mates rendered 1 hour ot, they arrived late in the meeting place. I don't have enough patience to wait and was planning to head back home when Sheng (my teammate) texted me that they're already on their way.
puerto galera's white beach

Puerto Galera is situated in Oriental Mindoro. It is well-known for tourists because of snorkeling and many diving spots. It is a good weekend get away for people living in the Metro for it is just few hours away from Manila, just about 2 hours drive from Manila to Batangas Port and another 1 1/2 hour from the port to White Beach. First impression of the white beach is a bit discouraging, compared to other beaches I visited, Galera is just okay.

There are many affordable accommodation to choose from but don't expect grand rooms waiting for you. Filling up your empty stomach is not a big problem 'coz there are a lot of restaurants and bars to dine in. After eating our late lunch we just spent the afternoon beach bumming and photo shooting.  I used my Ge x5 in taking pretty descent pictures and it didn't disappoint me.
emo pose
The night life in Puerto Galera is so alive with different beat from music, fire dancers and gay performances. There's a popular drink in Puerto Galera, the Mindoro sling, a local drink made of citrus juices and vodka that made most of the party people gone crazy. We saw girls lying on the sand and some are vomiting  because of the drinking. We also heard that during wee hours of the night there are a lot of crazy things happening at the famous boulder of stone at the end of white beach.  This is just an info we got from a gay that we befriended in Galera.
thirdie loving the mindoro sling
Some of us decided not to go partying, instead we headed to our rooms and slept because most of my friends haven't slept yet because they're on the night shift the night before. Most of the boys gone drinking and partying that night that some of them slept already in the morning. When we woke up, we just had our breakfast and go beach bumming and the non stop clicking and posing to the camera. We don't have much time to do beach activities because we were scheduled to go home after lunch. Some of my teammates tried riding the banana boat which I wasn't able to join because I'm already packing my things. At 1:30 pm we already boarded on the ferry-boat going to Batangas Port and arrived at the port at 3:15 pm.
more pictures from my ge x5

Here are the details of my expenses:
bus fares (manila to batangas port- vice versa)               334 php
ferry-boat ( two-way)                                                         460 php
environmental fee                                                                50 php
accommodation (1500 php/6 pax)                                     250 php
food: (group lunch)                                                             140 php
dinner (courtesy of our sup) chip in for the excess             70 php
breakfast (group)                                                                 88 php
drinks (1.5 sprite = 60php /5pax)                                        12 php
scramble                                                                              25 php
shawarma                                                                            50 php
total :                                                                               1479 php

Though I wasn't able to do some beach activities, the bumming is quite a stress reliever and very cheap for having a stress free weekend!
